Created whilst on residency at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, Ireland, this work transforms sound into visual language through a set of predetermined instructions.
The piece is based on a field recording captured at Drowes River (Drowes River, Co. Leitrim).
The recording the developed algorithm to extract visual forms from the audio, making the invisible visible. These visual forms were then transferred to canvas using a custom built plotting machine and a range of materials, resulting in the final artwork.
