2023 Drawings and Sound Installation.
n-formation is a site-specific installation engaging with the soundscapes of four locations across County Leitrim, Ireland. Using computational systems, these soundscapes are transformed into visual forms that capture the resonances and frequencies of each landscape.
Developed during a residency at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, the project is based on field recordings collected from sites of local sonic significance, including archaeological landscapes and endangered woodlands. The final works include drawings and sound works, forming a series of interconnected pieces that map relationships between place, sound, and perception.
