Created during a residency at Leitrim Sculpture Centre, this work explores the transformation of sound into visual language through custom-built, code-based systems.
The piece is based on a field recording captured at An Tulaigh Sceithearnaí (Tullyskeherny, Co. Leitrim), which was analysed using bespoke software to extract visual forms from the audio—making the invisible visible.
These generative visual forms were then transferred to canvas using plotting devices and a range of materials, resulting in the final physical artwork.
